Adwoa Agyapong
CEO & Founder
My name is Adwoa Sarpong Agyapong, a 22-year-old student currently pursuing Pre-Nursing in Lehman college New York City. Growing up, life was not always easy, but my mother made sure my siblings and I were always comfortable and provided for. Her strength, compassion, and perseverance have shaped me into the person I am today. Throughout my journey, I’ve experienced both challenges and blessings. Yet, through it all, one thing remained constant—my mother’s unwavering love and determination to see her children happy. Watching her give selflessly instilled in me a deep desire to one day give back to others in need. Although I’m not yet where I want to be in life, I’m working hard—balancing school and a modest job to support my education and ease my mother’s burdens. Every step I take is guided by gratitude and purpose. My inspiration to begin this journey came from Zachery Dereniowski, whose acts of kindness on TikTok deeply moved me. Watching how he brought hope and smiles to those in need stirred something within me — a desire to do the same in my own way. After one particularly emotional moment, I decided to start an initiative that could uplift others step by step. I shared my vision with my co-founder Yaw, who was immediately excited and supportive. Together, with the help of close friends, we created STEPE a name that represents our belief that life is a step-by-step journey toward lifting others through hope and dignity. This journey is dedicated to my incredible mother, Lydia Boamah Mensah, whose sacrifices continue to inspire me, to God for His endless grace and guidance, and to Zachery Dereniowski, whose kindness sparked the vision that began it all.
Yaw Gyamfi Agyei Poku

My name is Yaw Gyamfi Agyei Poku, a passionate young entrepreneur and changemaker who finds purpose in helping others and creating lasting impact. I graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) this year, and my journey so far has been shaped by a deep commitment to service, innovation, and personal growth. I am the Co-Founder of the Stepe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope, care, and opportunities to people living on the streets and those in vulnerable communities. Through this foundation, I’ve learned the power of compassion, teamwork, and collective action in transforming lives and restoring dignity. Beyond philanthropy, I am also an entrepreneur who believes in building sustainable businesses that make a difference. My ventures reflect my belief that success is most meaningful when it benefits others. I aim to create opportunities that empower people, inspire growth, and contribute to society in practical and lasting ways. At the heart of everything I do is a simple principle — to use my skills, creativity, and determination to make the world a little better than I found it. I look forward to continuing this journey of purpose, impact, and innovation, one step at a time.
